Here's a humorous announcement regarding eBay policies, from their General Announcement Board:
As before, receiving limits will be reset each month on the anniversary of the date that the PayPal account was opened.
Of course, what they mean is that your payment limits will be reset on the same day each month. But it's not an anniversary, since it's not a year apart. Perhaps they are thinking in dog years? Or perhaps they just didn't want to be caught using the ugly neologism monthiversary?
Hmm, while technically I agree than anniversary means yearly, it seems as though anniversary can be used (at least colloquially) to mean intervals other than one year. For instance, couples often celebrate their six-month anniversary.
If anniversary doesn't work in this context, what word would apply?

It's "mensiversary," but nobody but bluestockings will know what you mean. Present company included (wiggles blue-clad foot).

Wow. I've never heard "mensiversary" before.
I plead guilty to Radagast's usage, as in "six-month anniversary". But now I've got a new word to use instead!
